Why I Built ProPortalBusiness
Built in London by Kieran J. R. Martin for UK freelancers and sole traders.
The Problem I Faced
At 22, as a sole trader running my own business, I was using 8–10 different apps just to stay organised. Juggling spreadsheets, invoicing tools, project trackers, and scattered client communication was wasting hours every week and making me look less professional than I wanted.
Every new client meant another email thread, another invoice template, another follow-up reminder. The tools were either too simple or too enterprise — nothing was built for the way UK freelancers actually work.
Why I Built ProPortalBusiness
I built ProPortalBusiness because client details, jobs, invoices and contracts were living in six places. One record. Your clients see your firm, not a pile of apps.
Most importantly, I built the Impact Summary Engine so every completed project automatically creates a polished executive report and personalised upsell proposal — turning finished work into new revenue with almost zero extra effort.
