How it works

Upload or photograph a page. PPB Capture processes the image, extracts the names, phone numbers, addresses and notes it can find, and presents each proposed record for review. You correct anything that is wrong, then import.

It is an assistant, not an oracle

Handwriting is hard. PPB Capture will misread things, and the review step exists because of that. Records it is unsure about are marked as needing review rather than quietly imported.

Uploads are private

Captured images are stored in private storage tied to your account and are only accessible to you. You can delete a capture session and its files at any time.

Common questions

How accurate is it?
It depends heavily on handwriting and photograph quality. Clear print reads well; rushed handwriting often needs correction. Every record passes through a review step for that reason.
Does PPB Capture cost extra?
PPB Capture is available from the Free plan so you can move your paper records in before committing to anything.
What happens to the photographs?
They are stored privately against your account for the capture session and can be deleted by you.
